When he posted a video of his son on social media displaying exceptional athletic ability, former Pakistani cricket team captain Shoaib Malik appeared to be seeing a reflection of himself in the young man.

On Wednesday, Malik posted a video on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter, of his son Izhaan Mirza Malik, who is being helped by a trainer as he maneuvers through an obstacle course with remarkable dexterity.

Given that his parents, Malik and Indian tennis player Sania Mirza, are both well-known figures in the sports world, Izhaan's physical prowess may not come as a huge surprise.

Malik said as the post's caption, "My family is health-conscious. similar to a father and a son."

On Sunday, October 29, the five-year-old son of the former Pakistani all-rounder was spotted spending time with his father.In what appears to be Sania Mirza's residence in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the 41-year-old cricket player was spotted spending some much-needed quality time with his son in the peeks revealed from his big day.

Izhan Mirza-Malik, the couple's son, was born in 2018 after the two athletes got married in 2010.
