Travis
Kelce receives touchdown handshakes from Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes
during a Chiefs game.
Taylor Swift is providing Swifties with another athletic
encore.
The pop diva traveled to Kansas City, Missouri's Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday to support
Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and a reputed lover,
during the Chiefs' contest with the Los Angeles Chargers. Swift's game-day
wardrobe included a festive red Chiefs sweater and a bracelet bearing Kelce's
jersey number, 87.
During the first quarter of the game, Swift was
also spotted dancing and seated next to Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany. The two
joined forces for a congratulatory handshake after the Chiefs' first touchdown
in an exhilarating moment.
Swift's
participation was hinted at in a Sunday morning X post by CBS Sports reporter
Tracy Wolfson. For those who were curious, "For those asking #TravisKelce
told me he expects #TaylorSwift to be in the stadium today," Wolfson wrote.
Swift has already
attended four Chiefs games since the singer of "Karma" and Kelce were
first seen together during the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears on
September 24. Swift supported Kelce as he won 41-10 from a suite with Donna
Kelce, who is Kelce's mother.
With 24.3 million
viewers and the top spot among women aged 12 to 49, the game was the most
viewed contest of the week.
By bringing a large entourage to the Big Apple
event, Swift made the Chiefs' Oct. 1 game versus the New York Jets a
star-studded affair. The "Antihero" singer stood next to Blake
Lively, an actress, and they both cheered throughout the NFL game.
The
Grammy-winning singer was seen leaving the game with "Game of
Thrones" star Sophie Turner after she was seen in the booth.
Swift was present for the Chiefs' Oct. 12 game
against the Denver Broncos.
Swift joined the plus-one of another famous
athlete for some game-time celebration during the match. Swift and Brittany
Mahomes, the husband and wife of Patrick Mahomes, applauded enthusiastically as
the game progressed.
