Streep traveled to Canada to visit with a friend, and when she returned, she
was asked to leave the loft she had shared with the late actor. Her brother and
Gummer, one of his friends, arrived to assist her while she was packing the
loft.
According to rumors, once she left their apartment, Gummer leased her a loft in SoHo since
he was planning a lengthy vacation in Pakistan. While Gummer was away, they
