Arriving five months after their third studio album, 5-Star, Stray Kids' eighth EP in Korean
(thirteenth overall) is called Rock Star. Based on the four-character Korean
phrase "huiroaerak," the EP was created by 3Racha, the group's
in-house production team, in conjunction with Versachoi, Cubeatz, Willie Weeks,
Millionboy, Nickko Young, and Jun2. The album has two meanings: it includes the
English definition of "rock" as a component of rock n' roll and is
derived from the Chinese character "rak," which in Korean means
happiness and pleasure. Vibrant music and energetic performances, Stray Kids
emphasize the idea that happiness and joy should be the ultimate goals of life,
sending a message of optimism to their audience. The band cleverly combines the
meanings of several words that sound similar, such as "rock,"
"rak," "luck," and more, to create a catchy and captivating
melody in their title single, LALALALA.
Eight new tunes make up Stray Kids' eighth mini-album Rock Star, which is currently available for streaming everywhere.
