According to state media, the bodies of two shepherds killed
by Israeli fire have been recovered by Lebanon's army, bringing the total
number of people killed in Lebanon since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict
to 66, based on an AFP tally.The two shepherds, who are 20 and 22 years old,
were reported missing on Wednesday while walking their flock through Wazzani,
the area where they were raised close to the border, according to a report from
Lebanon's official National News Agency (NNA).
According to the NNA, "the (Israeli) occupation forces opened fire in their direction, and
they were found dead."A 16-year-old man died on Wednesday from his wounds
after an Israeli bombardment.
It was Hezbollah's second declaration in as many days that it had taken down an Israeli drone
using a surface-to-air missile on Thursday. For the first time since the start
of the Israel-Hamas conflict, their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, is scheduled to
address on Friday.
