Once again, People has selected its Sexiest Man Alive, and
Patrick Dempsey, the time has come.
The 2023 Sexiest Man Alive was unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 7, on "Jimmy Kimmel Live,"
after being selected by voters who cast online ballots during the fall. This
year, the fortunate individual is none other than McDreamy.
The former "Grey's Anatomy" actor told People, "I'm glad it's happening at
this point in my life." "It feels good to be recognized, and my ego
definitely gets a little boost, but it gives me the opportunity to use it for
good."After learning he named People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2023, the "Ferrari" actor
claimed he was "totally stunned." He said, "And then I began
laughing, like, this is a joke, right? I've been a bridesmaid for entire life!
I had completely forgotten about it and had never given being in this situation
any thought. My ego is thus healthy.
Dempsey,57, is married to Jillian Dempsey, and the two of them have three children together:
twins Sullivan and Darb,16, and 21-year-old Talula. The actor made a jest that
his kids would make fun of his attractive appearance.

Since the site's launch in 1985, People has been designating a "Sexiest Man Alive".
Mel Gibson, 29, was the first guy to win.
Dempsey is also in good company these days. Chris Evans, 41 at the time, was the recipient of the award last year.Evans was thrilled to give his mother some new bragging rights
after winning.
He teased People, "My mom will be so happy," after accepting the honor. Although she is
proud of all I do, she can truly take pride in this.The previous year, Paul
Rudd, who was 52 at the time and seemed to be immortal, won the title of
sexiest person in the country.
Rudd stated that he intended to "lean into it hard" despite anticipating "so much
grief" from his pals about the title."This will be mine to possess. I
won't try to come across as overly modest. The Kansas City native told the
outlet, "I'm getting business cards made." However, I expect all of
my pals to ruin me. They are my buddies because of this.
Rudd joked that he would be able to go sailing more often in his life because of the title.
